Python Data Science Bootcamp: Pre-Competition Workshop
The Data Science Association (DSA) is thrilled to announce the Python Data Science Bootcamp, a pre-competition workshop designed to equip participants with essential skills for the upcoming Top Coder Challenge 2024. Hosted in collaboration with 25 universities, and supported by MDEC, this workshop aims to ensure participants are confident and well-prepared to excel in the competition.
The pre-competition workshop comprises four virtual sessions, each spanning 2 1/2 hours, and is open to all individuals eager to delve into programming, regardless of their participation in the competition. The sessions will cover fundamental Python programming concepts, providing a comprehensive understanding of:
- Introduction to Python and Basic Concepts
- Functions and Modules
- Data Structures
- Working with Files and Error Handling
Led by experienced instructors, the workshop will offer a dynamic learning environment, fostering interaction and engagement among participants. Furthermore, all workshop attendees will gain exclusive access to the E-Box platform, where they can access workshop materials, recordings, and additional learning resources, including videos and materials.
As part of the workshop experience, participants will have the opportunity to assess their Python knowledge and engage in unlimited practice sessions using the platform. This hands-on approach ensures participants are familiar with the platform and ready to leverage its capabilities effectively during the competition.
