We are proud to announce the winners of Top Coders Malaysia 2025 — the national-level coding challenge that brought together the country’s brightest young programming talents for another record-breaking year.
This year’s competition saw participation on an unprecedented scale, reaffirming Top Coders Malaysia’s position as one of the leading national coding challenges for university students.
Top Coders Malaysia is a national-level initiative designed to empower young coding talents across universities. Open to Pre-U, Foundation, and university students — with no prior coding experience required — the competition ran on the eBox Virtual Coding Lab, a simulated Python coding environment that gave every participant a fair, standardized playing field.
Beyond the competition itself, participants gained real value:
This year’s winners were awarded the specially designed Top Coders Trophy — crafted with sustainable materials including recycled metal, reclaimed wood, biodegradable resin, and recycled glass. The trophy’s design reflects the spirit of the competition itself: innovation paired with responsibility, celebrating excellence in a digital economy that values sustainability.
To every team that competed, trained, and pushed their limits this year — congratulations. Your dedication represents the future of Malaysia’s tech talent pipeline, and we can’t wait to see where your journeys take you next.
A huge thank you to our academic partners, government agencies, and industry partners who made this year’s challenge possible.
